COPEINCA ASA - 2009 FISHING RESULTS
Copeinca finished second in the year processing 15.21% of the total Peruvian
quota, of which 10.81% came from own catch. It is also noteworthy that fish oil
production had a 4.68% yield. Copeinca produced 188,000 MT of fishmeal and
38,000 MT of fish oil.
For the second fishing season of the year (November-January) Copeinca processed
14.81% of the total Peruvian quota, of which 10.92% came from own catch. Total
production for the second fishing season was 68,000 MT of fishmeal and 7,500 MT
of fish oil.
"The second fishing season with ITQ has been very successful, and we continue
to improve our efficiency and quality of production significantly. For the next
seasons, we expect to further improve our efficiency and quality of production,
due to better knowledge of the individual quota system and our aggressive CAPEX
